Ignacio Lores Varela (born 26 April 1991 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian Serie A club Palermo.
Lores started his football career with Defensor Sporting, making his debut during the 2009–10 season and totaling nine appearances with the Montevideo-based club.
On July 2011 Serie A club Palermo announced to have completed the signing of Lores from Defensor Sporting for €2.8 million[2]; the player agreed a five-year deal with the club and will wear the #26 jersey for the Sicilian club.[3]
He has been capped by the Uruguay national under-20 football team for the 2011 South American Youth Championship and for the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
